FAQ
Frequently asked questions.
What is financial planning?
Financial planning is a dynamic process where you work with a professional to identify goals, examine resources and develop a roadmap to achieve your financial objectives. It means much more than just investing: it gives you the comfort of knowing how to stay financially on track through every stage of life.
What should a financial plan include?
A review of your goals and objectives, net worth, cash flow, investment portfolio, insurance, taxes and future expectations, along with tailor-made solutions and projections of how likely you are to meet each goal.
What's the difference between financial planning and retirement planning?
Financial planning covers all aspects of your financial well-being: savings, investments, retirement and education goals, insurance cover and estate planning. Retirement planning focuses only on the investments made for retirement.
What is involved in financial planning?
We look at your overall financial picture. You'll fill out a detailed questionnaire so we understand your needs and goals, and we then put together a plan designed to improve your overall position, followed by a long-term plan for retirement and family goals.
What is the difference between asset allocation and diversification?
Asset allocation is how your whole portfolio is split across asset classes: stocks, bonds, cash, real estate. Diversification is the variety within each class. ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank are both blue-chip banking stocks, so they tend to move together; holding both is not true diversification. A portfolio that invests in multiple types of assets, not just stocks, is what matters.
Can you still help if we are not from your city or country?
Yes. We serve clients across India and around the world over video calls. The rules of investing and finance are the same everywhere, and we're proud to serve clients beyond our borders.
Do you provide financial education?
Yes. We share financial knowledge through courses, communities, videos and articles, so you have an edge when it comes to the world of finance and investing.
Are you SEBI registered?
No. Growcrest One is not SEBI registered. We provide financial planning, education and advisory support; investments are subject to market risk and you should read all scheme documents carefully.
